Our dream coming true....
For many years we have had a dream. That dream was the building of a pond in a secluded area of the farm that would invite
wildlife and protect them. 2005 was the year of that dream.

The first picture is a view of the land before the pond. It is taken in the pasture that Pride lives in and is hidden from
the road. It is a place that is quiet and protected from the winds of winter. It is also a place that provides shelter from
the heat of summer

September 13, 2005: Yesterday afternoon the pond was finished.
The springs slowly seeped through the ground and began to fill the pond.

October 15th: The pond is full. In spite of the very dry summer that we had, the weather seemed to change soon after we
dug the pond. Thanks to almost 2 solid weeks of rain in October, the pond is starting to look like we always hoped.
December, 2005: Winter arrives, time for nature to rest.
