Rescue, Rehabilitation and Adoption for domestic pets and farm animals in need.

"But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will
teach you; or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the lord has done
this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:7-10.

Welcome to Gemini Farm. We are located on the edge of the Endless Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. The farm has
been many things over the years.....a Thoroughbred breeding farm, a show and breeding kennel for Australian Shepherds and
Chinese Cresteds and a home for hundreds of animals who, through no fault of their own were disposed of by their owners. Currently
we breed, on an extremely small scale, Miniature Horses but our main focus has gradually become that of a rescue facility.

While we feel that producing good quality dogs and horses is important we are increasingly aware and concerned about the horrible
overpopulation problem in domestic pets and the sad plight of unwanted farm animals. Because of our concerns we now spend
most of our time and resources rescuing both large and small animals.
Keep in mind that the farm was, for many of them, their last chance. There were no shelters willing to take them and no adopters
waiting to adopt them. They are here at the farm because there were only two other options for them.... euthanasia and dumping
along a country road.

Even if you can't adopt an animal, please visit our
"How You Can Help"
page for other ways in which you can help one or more of our animals.
Our cat population alone is currently close to 40 (!) and so cat food donations are especially needed.
Perhaps, as you click through the site, you will find it in your heart to adopt one of our orphans. If you enjoyed our
site please tell others to visit. Every time we adopt an animal to a loving home we make room for another animal with
no future...waiting for a place to get a second chance. Please help us give as many little souls a chance as possible
by spreading the word about Gemini Farm
