SPACEFLIGHT SIMULATION

bar.gif

My enthusiasm for spaceflight simulation goes back to 1961 when I visited the Robert H. Goddard museum in Roswell, New Mexico. Inside was one of his rockets with the components laid out; a V-1 Buzz Bomb hanging from the ceiling; and a control console at the back of the museum that was showing satellite pictures. I was captivated by all the lights, buttons, and dials and I started thinking about simulating a Mercury capsule.

I will be adding more about other simulations I participated in.
