A self-taught photographer, Glenn K.M. Chang has been photographing nature and the outdoors since 1988. Since moving to Colorado
in 1993, Glenn has focused on the magnificent landscapes of Colorado, as well as the canyon and desert country of the Four
Corners region, and the varied landscapes of California.
As a freelance photographer, Glenn focuses on nature and outdoor photography for the fine art, book, magazine, greeting
card and calendar market, as well as commercial assignments for magazines, and brochure and report illustration. He is most
drawn to the high country of the Rockies and Sierras, though his interests have turned increasingly to the desert country
of the Four Corners region.
One result of this interest in this region was to reawaken a long held interest in the archaeology of the American Southwest.
He has photographed many archaeological sites throughout Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico.
From this work, Glenn produced his first book, The Mystery of the Anasazi in Frijoles Canyon. Published by Kiva Publishing
in September 2002, it is a children's book that focuses on the history of the ancestral Anasazi people of Bandelier National
Monument in New Mexico. Glenn's photographs and drawings illustrate the book.
Copies of this book can be purchased from the photographer.
