What's New?

MAJOR Update to site today, mainly in the notes section.
8-12-04
If you are interested in the history of the Burditt's (and Burdett's and Burdette's) in America, be sure
to visit the website www.burditt1653.org. Andrew Burdett from Crosby, TX, has done a herculean job of linking over 2500 descendents
of Robert Burditt, who came from England to Malden, MA, about 1653.
For example, I now know that I am his 11th
generation descendent . Using the website, I can easily see the path back to him. Recently Andrew posted a photo of George
M. Burditt, Jr., in the Bell Rock Cemetery in Malden. George is kneeling next to the headstone of Thomas Burditt. There were
many Thomas'. The website helps keep track of them all.
The website also provides web links to sources of genealogical
interest, as well as notices of family reunions. The site will continue to grow. You are encouraged to add missing names,
dates, relationships, and photos of historical value.
Thank you, Andrew!
