WENDY LEA BAR is a 1994,
92 % NFQHA line-back dun mare. Her sire is a grullo - and this foal could very well be a grullo as Kaycee has
produced grullo's off of many mares.
Wendy is a granddaughter
of Sonnys Cowboy, a great granddaughter of Sonny Dee
Bar, and has them both again on her fourth and fifth. She also has Hank
H (x King P-234), Croton Oil, Eternal Sun, Hickory King (grandson of King
P-234), Babe Cody (x Bill Cody x Wimpy), Colonel (double bred Old Joe) , and
FH Bill Thomas (to Pete McCue and Old Fred) on her fifth - some excellent
old foundation breeding that shows in her build . "Wendy" stands at 15.1 and 1200 lbs on a solid frame - she is a big mare
with a big hip, lots of bone, and an excellent conformation.
Wendy has only had two foals; most of her life has been spent
under saddle, on the trails, and in the show ring. She produced a nice filly prior to our ownership; and an outstanding
line back dun colt in 2007 off our buckskin stallion; Little Joe is currently in south Florida, ready to
be started soon as a junior rodeo prospect! His photo is pictured below as a weanling.

Pocos Mr Kaycee, the sire of this foal, is a
15.1 (almost 15.2) hands, 1250lb., 94% NFQHA line back dun stallion, homozygous for the black gene, and dun factor.
Kaycee has a very quiet and willing disposition.
This is his 11th foal crop - and he has consistantly produced
foals with color and excellent conformations! His foals have gone on to rope, rein, show in hand, and
hit the trails - smooth to ride, easy to train, good looking, people loving horses.
Kaycee has been tested with UC Davis, and is N/N for HERDA...
He is an own son of
Tupelo Gunsmoke, who was the 2004 IBHA Honor Roll Dun Factor Horse, 2003-3rd in
IBHA World, 2003-Dun In The Sun Circuit Champion, 2004 ABRA Pre-World Circuit Champion, 2004 ABRA Reserve World Champion,
2004 IBHA Pre-World Reserve Circuit Champion, 2004 IBHA 4th in World, 2004 IBH Congress Circuit Champion.... Tupelo
Gunsmoke has officially earned his IBHA Superior in Dun Factor, and also his ABRA Superior in Dun Factor.
