This is the bridge crossing Deception Pass near Anacortes, WA. It is slack
tide. The water pours through there at 7 kts. with the tide!

This is a gravel section of the Alaskan Highway between Watson Lake, YT and
Whitehorse, YT. Add potholes, washboard, and flying gravel, and you'll understand why we turned around. This is mostly what
the road looks like from Whitehorse to Alaska!
