Blogs for Today

Gary West

October 25, 2006

In the 2004 elections, one of the power players in the game of politics turned out to be “blogs” – short for “web logs,” which are websites devoted to specific topics or to nothing at all, depending on the blogger.  Bloggers can post family pictures, stories about their relatives, and anything else they choose.

Some blogs gain notoriety for their content, their sense of humor, their tone, their style – you know, all those things missing in our elected officials – and especially in those wannabe elected officials – those running for office this year.

Sometimes, some folks can say things in ways that can’t be improved upon – so I’m just sharing a few links that have something to say and that say it in that special way…

The following links go to some blog spaces and news stories with some interesting information that you might wish to consider as you make your decision about the candidates who are worthy of your vote (you *are* voting – right?!):

Please feel free to share these links with anyone who has a sense of humor (or not), has a sense of responsibility (or not), has a sense of commitment (or not), or has a sense of foreboding (or not).

Read responsibly.  Vote responsibly.
