NGOs:
NGOnet.has been created to provide information to, for and about non governmental organizations (NGOs) active in Central and Eastern Europe. It can be used in a variety of ways...by hopeful funders seeking grantees, by hopeful grantees in search of funders, by organizations trying to identify possible project partners, by individuals looking to identify possible employers. The site is constantly revised and expanded to reflect up-to-date practical information for the region's NGO community, including NGO databases, funding guidelines, new program information, and direct links to hundreds of pertinent Internet sites.    http://www.ngonet.org

Child Labor:

Some people argue that child labor is a "necessary evil" that is a part of developing nations as they mature through the various stages of industrialism.  Not convinced?  I'll play devil's advocate:  Check out The history place for some great pictorial documentation on child labor in American from 1908-1912.  Great Site.    http://www.historyplace.com/unitedstates/childlabor/index.html
