Taylorsville Bass Club (TBC)

Club Rules

  1. All Members are expected to show high standards of sportsmanship, fellowship, courtesy, safety and conservation. All federal, state, local laws and idle zones are to be adhered to at all times.

  2. TBC Directors reserve the right to refuse any applicant for membership or entry fee in a tournament.

  3. Anyone under the age of 18 must fish with a partner 18 or older.

  4. You may fish alone or with a partner.

  5. Tournament time is 6:30 pm. to 10:30 pm each Friday, Possum Ridge boat dock, unless otherwise voted on.

Sign in at Settlers Trace Grocery 5:00 pm. to 6:00 pm.

  1. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass will be weighed. The 15in rule will be enforced, mouth closed tail in any direction. If a short fish is weighed in, you will lose that fish and a 2 pound penalty.

  2. 5 fish limit, each dead fish weighed in will be penalized 1lb.

  3. Artificial bait only, no trolling.

  4. Live wells will be checked. All boats must have a working kill-switch and aerated live well.

  5. You must be wearing a life jacket with kill-switch attached while the gas engine is running.

  6. Possum Ridge no-wake area is Off-Limits and themarina only at Settlers Trace ramp.

  7. Any protest must be brought to the attention of the TBC directors, with three witnesses prior to the weigh in.

  8. Maintain a 50 yard distance from any other tournament participant. In the event boats approach each other on the same bank, the boat with the drivers side nearest that bank has the right-of-way, unless agreed to differently by opposing boats.

  9. Infringement of any of these rules can cause disqualification. Interpretation of these rules shall be left exclusively to the TBC Directors, their decision is final and non-contestable.

  10. Tournament waters are off limits the day of the tournament.

  11. Per calendar year there is a one time 5$ membership fee per person, and a one time guest pass per person. Persons under the age of 18 membership fee is free.

  12. Entry fee per tournament is 25$ per boat, this includes big fish and is broke down as follows: 20$ to paying places, 4$ to big fish, 1$ to club for expenses.

  13. This is a non-profit club. Any proceeds are for the tournaments or club expenses.

I hereby release the TBC Directors, Sponsors, the State of Kentucky and contestants from all claims, injuries in or conjunction with this club or tournaments. Your signature constitutes submission to a polygraph examination in respect to your catch.

The TBC Directors reserve the right to change, alter, add, or delete, any of the rules stated.
