Luck has nothing to do with my garden, my shop or working environment. I have created it over a 35 year period
with many mistakes and changes along the way! All this used to be an empty field with clay so deep that not even blackberries
would grow! It took years to improve the soil and, of course, I am still doing it. Along the way the paths changed,
structures came and went, the jungle gyms for my children were replaced with water features and steel sculptures. This
has always been a work in progress and alters with my age.

Now, in the mornings I get to cross the bridge, coffee in hand, and appreciated this space as I go off to work,
fifty feet further to my shop. There I make my steel and iron creations: Entry gates, garden gates and fencing,
a trellis or two and my, almost famous arbors, and occasionally "little art". I often take breaks from this to tour
my own garden: thinking "I did this just right" or I should change this or that, or just being there and thinking of
the project I am working on. On a really hot day I might even jump in the pool and look at the garden from there.
That's why you should call ahead for a tour!
