Q: How long does it take to install the STO'AWAY in my garage?

A: Installation usually takes from one to three hours, depending on the garage. We do include complete installation instructions and offer free technical advice at 1-800-648-9288, if needed.

Q: Why does STO'AWAY uses a 2" wide nylon lifting strap?

A: This 2" wide nylon strap (seat belt material), makes it so the top lifts straight up and down, no twisting and spinning that occurs with ropes and cables.

Q: Is my hard top safe when stored on the STO'AWAY?

A: It is very safe. The hard top is supported in the same areas, as on the automobile, by strong aluminum arms that are padded to prevent any indentions to the rubber molding. Not to mention, the lifting harness is still attached to it.

Q: Is the MANUAL STO'AWAY difficult to operate?

A: No. The MANUAL STO'AWAY is geared to lift and lower the hard top without strain. You simply turn the hand crank one direction to lift the hard top and the other direction to lower it. There never is any slipping. The manual system securely holds the hard top at any level, even when cranking is stopped.

Q: How long does delivery usually take?

A: We ship via United Parcel Service, and delivery takes from one to eight working days, depending on location.
