Webmaster:

You should have receive, by email, the contest instruction and score sheets for the 2009 SCMFS Website contest. The contest overview, instructions, entry form, and score sheets have all been posted on the web. Below are links to these files. The score sheets are in PDF but can be filled in on you computer.  The absolute deadline for me to receive entries is 16 January 2008. However, I am leaving on a business trip on the 17th and would really like to have the entries in hand by 10 January if possible.

If your club has a website, you should enter this contest. Winning a trophy or certificate would be nice, but I would hope you would use the contest as a means of improving you website. The score sheet lists certain things that should be website, so they are a learning tool for the next year too. Additionally, the graded score sheets will be returned to you at the next SCMFS Convention . You can look at the comments from the judges - still another way to improve your end products. The trophies and certificates are nice, but the education you can get from the score sheets and contest is really the most important aspect.

I would encourage you to read the contest overview and contest instructions closely. This is a new contest and you must enter if you want to participate. In years past we looked at all the sites, this year only those entered sites will be judged.

Here are the links to the files. They are all on the Pleasant Oaks G&MC website. I have asked the SCFMS webmaster to either add the files to the SCFMS pages, or to just link to the www.pogmc.org pages.
