After a period of neglect, I'm back collecting and researching more amps for a Vintage Amp calendar. I've added several Sunns, Acoustics, and a couple Fenders. I plan to do a brand, or an era of a brand for each month in different settings. Some of the motivation coming from boredom of trying to find different calendars. I have enough Beatles, vintage guitar, and Corvette calendars and the pictures are starting to become redundant. I'm sure I'm not the only one with his problem so why not amps? I'm lining up locations, amps, and a few classic guitars for the shoot. I have a great photographer and layout person on board so full steam ahead! Any ideas and support would be helpful! Here are a couple shots of some recent finds.
Acoustic Control

Acoustic were great transistor amps! The Doors were the first but many followed. John Paul Jones, Jaco, and Carl Raddle all used the 360 then the 370 series bass amps. These along with Ampeg SVTs were the bass amp of choice. Here are 2 series 2 and 1 series 3 amp. The 140 bass amp replaced the 150B shown here with a 106 2-15" cabinet. The 150 guitar head is a transitional model with blackface and aluminum knobs. The top head is a series 3 230 guitar head.
Acoustic 150 w/104 cabinet

Here is a series 1 150 head with 104 cabinet. This is an early 70s version.
71' Fender Deluxe Reverb

A 71' Deluxe Reverb. This model is one of the most loved guitar amps of all times. This one is no exception, powerful with nice breakup at higher volumes. One of my favorite finds, I've wanted one for a long time.
