Our mission here at Tartan Bears is to promote Scottish heritage and history.
Margaret Morris is an insomniac with way too much time on
her hands. She first became interested in all things Scottish while researching her ancestry for her membership into
the Clan Ross Association of the United States. She is now the Clan Ross Associations Board Secretary, Deputy South-Central
Regional Commissioner, and the Deputy State Commissioner for Texas.
The idea of Tartan Bears came from her husband after seeing a bear she had
made for a friend. Now she works fulltime on these adorable pals while traveling
around the USA, and soon Scotland, promoting her bears and her Scottish pride.
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys writing poetry, and is currently working
on her book, a historical romance set in Scotland during the Cromwell years. She
currently lives outside Dallas, Texas with her husband, two very precocious cats, and their Bulldog.

Oh Highland hills and luscious vales,
That
comes to life in summer,
Oh glorious breeze calling me,
that whispers of the Heather.
Oh Highland lochs' reflecting
pools,
Paint Caledonian scenes,
Oh silvery rivers flowing,
Beckoning in my dreams.
Oh Highland song's sweet
melody,
Of the bagpipes I hear play,
Oh tartan wool of vivid hues,
The clans proudly wear today.

Her children from where they roam.

Tartan Bears

Tartan Bears are hand-made with love and have their own individual look. All tartan material
is imported from Scotland. The stuffing is cushy hypoallergenic Polyester Fiberfill "Cluster Stuff" to insure
no bunching or clumping. The eyes and noses are child-safety lock, but not recommended for children under 3 years.
All bears come with an ear tag complete with clan name,
tartan name, and listed materials, as well as a special label on the back of the bear.
