The three Thai phrases you MUST know!

Learning Thai is not easy for most people because unlike Western (phonetic) languages, it uses five tones.

Living in Pattaya and PRACTICING daily your Thai is the BEST way to become proficient.

However, here's three essential phrases you'll need when you walk off the plane in Bangkok:

sah-waah-dee, krawhp (Hello, Men)

Kawp kuuhn, krawhp (Thank you)

Kortoad, krawhp (Sorry)

Note: For a MAN, each phrase ends in 'krawhp' while a WOMAN would use 'khaa'.
