Elemental, Eclectic Acoustic-Electric Music from Austin, TX



























Firewater is an Austin-based band that plays eclectic country/folk/rock featuring exceptional vocals, versatile instrumentals and unique original material. The band’s enthusiasm and enjoyment of its music is contagious.

 

Lisa Fancher, the lead singer, has a remarkable voice and also plays guitar and mandolin.  Her original songs are a major part of the band's repertoire. She has been honored as a Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk songwriting contest winner. 

 

Eddie “Cinco” Block sings, plays electric and upright bass and electric and acoustic guitar and is noted for his smooth, well-blended harmony vocals.

 

Jimmy Weston plays guitar, mandolin, and mandola as well as singing his original tunes. Jimmy writes songs with facinating stories of truth and life. His songs evoke vivid depictions of Texas landscapes, characters and experiences.

 

Jeanne Kyser weaves her beautiful, soaring fiddle lines around the music and adds vocal harmonies to complete the distinctive Firewater sound.
