The TARA Net

John Kemper, Net Control The weekly TARA net is conducted every Monday evening at 1900 (7:00PM) on the K6TPD repeater on 223.880 MHz, with a -1.60 MHz input offset and 100.0 Hz PL.

Please join us and check in on the net. Visitors are always welcome.

The on-air net is your authoritative source for the latest TARA news and messages. Checking in to the weekly net helps TARA members keep their equipment and operating skills working smoothly.

Calendar Activities

John and (future member) Donna Wilson

Our TARA Calendar lists TARA events and other Torrance Disaster Service events, and local ham radio and other events of special interest TARA members. In addition, the summary of upcoming events is a quick way to check on what's happening in the next couple of weeks. (Both of these are typically updated weekly, along with the weekly TARA messages. Please let me know about events I've missed.)

Regular monthly TARA Board of Directors meeting

First monday of the month, 7:30 PM (after the TARA net) at the Torrance Police Department. All interested TARA members are invited to attend and participate.

Here to let you know what is going on is the latest TARA Board of Directors meeting Agenda (.pdf file) that I have availible. This may be the agenda for the upcoming meeting, or some recent past meeting. Please remind me if this gets seriously out of date.

Zip Captains Lunch
