Fellow Travelers Performance Group is active is providing opportunities for local, national and international performers to be seen in San Francisco. Over ninety artists from the Bay area, across the United States and Canada have performed in our low tech (usually) group shows, offering a rare chance to be produced in the Bay Area.
Women on the Edge - 1996 - 2006. A showcase series designed to provide groundbreaking women choreographers of dancetheater works with a low stress, paid forum for their work.
A Month of Sundays -1996 May through December, then sporadic salons - A month of Sundays began as a thirty week Sunday night performance series in alternative spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area. This experiment in lost cost production where high caliber artists could branch out into new areas, was very successful. Allowing and encouraging experimentation allowed many artists to try new methods, whether or not they worked. Over the thirty weeks dance companies, dance artists, composers, poets, actors, sculptors and other artists all got chances to interact, get feedback and show work.
