MISSION STATEMENT

Meeting the people where they are even if it means doing so in the secular arena of the Internet.

We believe that there is a place for Christian networks serving the Christian community but that the separation caused by networking acts like a fire wall hiding the good works of the church and the gospel from public view. The dictum to go into the world is violated when men consider the mere presence of Christian networks as fulfilling the mission that Jesus, The Christ, sent His church to fulfill.

THE PURPOSE OF POINT IN TIME IS

• To search the web, concentrating on community mini nets, for areas or categories in which the church serves but has no linked presence.
• To make free web page development and web sites available to under-funded, ministries and helps organizations. (All web pages developed by PITCIR become the property of the ministry for whom the page was developed.)
• To advise ministries and helps organizations on their Internet options.
• To publish web pages to secular mini webs and Christian networks.
• To encourage a witness to the world and discourage insolated isolation even if such means buying gold tried by fire.
• To establish a Christian presence not hidden from their neighbors behind an Internet wall of religiosity by Encourage ministries and helps organizations to establish a presence, by links, to the local community mini networks.
• To encourage the secular community to look upon the Christian community on the web and see the modern and the traditional role that the Christian community has played and is playing to make the physical community a better place.
