Freight+ Server will work with ANY program that can use ODBC to access a Microsoft Visual Foxpro Database.

The Freight+ Server program FRTCOM.EXE constantly polls (Real-time) a MS Visual Foxpro database file (FRBAT01.DBF) to see if any new transactions have been posted. Freight+ server immediately pops-up the Freight+ Server transaction screen on-top of your current screen, process any new transactions, rate packages, rate-shop carriers, create the UPS, FedEX, US Postal, Airborne or LTL BOL, manifest entry, print tags and post the Shipping Cost and Tracking # back to the Visual Foxpro file were you can optionally retrieve them using and ODBC connection.

Freight+ is integrated with several popular accounting systems using Visual Foxpro. In addition to our standard accounting system links you can run Freight+ from inside of ANY Visual Foxpro (VFP) application. Our standard links to ACCPAC\SBT, IAS, VAM and TIW ALL use VFP to run Freight+ from inside of their software.

Freight+ was developed using Microsoft Visual Foxpro and designed to run inside of YOUR VFP application The original concept of Freight+ was to build a multi carrier software package that would handle the major common carriers and that could be incorporated into other VFP applications. We distribute with Freight+ a sample program that shows your programmer how to make calls to Freight+ from your VFP application.

ANY VFP application can be programmed to make calls to Freight+ with minimal programming effort.

We will customize Freight+ to your specific shipping needs. Your needs could be as simple as adding a additional field to the UPS label or you might require custom programming on a larger scale; like adding a local carrier to Freight+. There are no jobs to big or to small, we will make your vision a reality.

Microsoft Dial-up Networking is required for UPS uploads

Microsoft TCP\IP protocol is required for UPS uploads

Freight+ requires 50 megabyte of disk space for installation.

Pentium class computer with serial ports and a minimum of one parallel port.

UPS installations require either existing carrier printer or ELTRON Orion printer.
