Starting in 2009 Fresh Earth Farms is offering a Winter Storage Share. For the inaugural season, Fresh Earth Farms plans to take on all the risk. Before we ask you to commit money we want to ensure we can produce the produce. So for this year we are first asking our members if they would like to purchase a Winter Storage Share. Based on the response we will plant what we feel would meet the demand. Then in the fall, when we find out how well the plan went, we will pursue selling the shares. Make sense?

We don’t yet know the quantities of things but figure it would be something like this:

5-10 lbs Potatoes,

5-10 lbs Onions,

2-5 lbs Shallots,

1-2 lbs Garlic,

?? lbs Rutabagas,

?? lbs Sweet Potatoes,

10-20 Beets,

2-4 Cabbage,

5-10 Winter Squash

Pricing will be determined once we figure out what is included.
