When finished, please send me a screen shot of your own entry into the Lost Lunar Baedeker. If I get enough interesting entries, I'll post them here. There are about 150 words, so you should be able to make an entry that reflects your own travels. How to take a screen shot? On most Windows machines, press Control + Print Screen. That places a picture on your Clipboard, which you can paste into your favorite paint or graphics program with a simple Control + V. Save it. Remember where, so you can attach it to your email message. |
On the Mac press Shift+Apple+3. You hear a quick snap sound, like the shutter of a camera. You can find the screen shot on your hard drive. Usually the Mac names it picture1. Also, many common graphics programs include a screen shot or screen capture feature. Try to size your window so the screen shot looks attractive and please optimize the file for good email transfer and web display. And the music slowly filtering in? It's Richard Einhorn's "Blue Days," from his wonderful Doctor Seuss work, "My Many Colored Days." |
