Durham The Next Generation is a political action commitee that
provides financial support, training, and campaign management services free of charge to young candidates seeking an elected
office in Durham City or County Government.
Candidate
Requirements
o A resident of Durham County for a minimum of 5 years.
o Registered to vote in Durham County.
o Under the age of 35 on the date of the next general election.
o Able to commit 3-5 hours per week to campaign-related activities.
Non-Partisan Support
Candidates may be of any party affiliation
and campaign on whatever issues they choose.

To apply for support as
a Next Generation candidate, download and complete the application below.
To be considered for support for the 2009
General Election, your application must be postmarked or faxed no later than May 31, 2009.

Next Generation accepts contributions from citizens who would like to invest in Durham's political future.
Please make your personal check payable to DURHAM The Next Generation and mail it to the address listed above. Maximum contribution
per person is $100. xx Smaller donations are preferred.
