All officers including the Worshipful Master, the Senior and Junior Wardens, the Treasurer, the Secretary, the Chaplain, the Senior and Junior Deacons, the Marshal, the Senior and Junior Stewards, the Tiler, and the Officers' Coach must attend the monthly Officers' School of Instruction. Two excused absences are permitted per year, or the officer may be dropped, at the discretion of the District Inspector. All Officers' School of Instruction meetings are held at the Long Beach Masonic Center at 3610 Locust Ave., Long Beach, CA 90808, at 7:00 pm sharp. They are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month. Note to Officers: To be excused, you must call the Inspector, Worshipful Gene Kimbler, at (562) 498-3008. As a courtesy, please also call the Master, Worshipful Dan Moran, at (562) 715-9118 (although just calling the Master will not excuse your absence; the Inspector must be called). The host Lodge is responsible for refreshments, set up, and clean up. All Master Masons are welcome to attend. All First and Second Degrees are to be complete, including the Master's Lecture. Third Degree Master's Lecture as specified. Schools for which Los Cerritos Lodge are responsible are marked in red. |
