A little about us...
James and Julie both grew up in southern California. They married June 28, 1997.
James was born in Ventura and is a graduate of Biola University in La Mirada, California. He's the assistant director of training in an organization that provides emergency shelter, residential treatment, and community services for abused, neglected, and at-risk children. He's worked in the past with international non-profit organizations in camping, sport, and education programs.
Julie was born in Midland, Texas, but her family soon moved to Ventura (soon enough to be considered a native Californian). She's a graduate of Master's College in Santa Clarita, California. She taught middle school for eight years and has traveled extensively leading student ambassador programs around the world. Since Ashlyn was born, she's been investing herself full-time as a mom.
Ashlyn was born April 18, 2005 in Ventura, California and is enjoying each new day. She keeps us busy and we've learned so much from her already. View her birth announcement or pictures from her first year.
