Shattenmann

German for "Shadow Man,"  this is basically a bogey-man of the forest, who seems to manifest out of shadow. The fact that I was asked to surround him with foliage provided me a nice opportunity to create some stylized framing for this spot-art. His eyes were described as looking like inky black holes. That was convenient, since the ink I was using was rather... inky.
