Bearers of Jade

The full image of this piece can be seen in the "fantasy" section of this web site, but I thought it would be interesting to also show how it looked on the printed cover, with the unique "torn" border, and the type. In my discussions with the graphic designer before proceeding with the artwork, we agreed that it would look good to have the sword extending up into the type area, just slightly overlapping some of it. We felt this would help the image to feel more integrated with the cover, and make it "pop" more as well.
