A group related files are archived in *.zip form.
User can use PKUNZIP.EXE to get the original files.
After the user received the files, please create a subdirectory, for example
C:\GOODLUCK.
Otherwise the *.htm file can not load the *.gif picture file.
Because all pointer used in the files are LOCAL.
If you do not have PKUNZIP.EXE, use the on-line search engine to find with the key word "pkunzip" or "pkzip".
The start up file in each group is "FULU####.HTM". Where FU is good luck in Chinese, LU is prosperity in Chinese. All start up file are named "FULU####.HTM" no matter if that file contains FU, LU or not. "####" is a four digit number.
In each group it has a start up web page and related Chinese characters in *.GIF format. For example the group in FULU0002.ZIP contains FULU0002.HTM and ONE_0001.GIF, TWO_0001.GIF, THREE_01.GIF ... TEN_0001.GIF, HUNDRED1.GIF THSAND_1.GIF, 10THSND1.GIF etc. The *.GIF file's name is descriptive. ONE_0001.GIF contains the Chinese character "ONE". THSAND_1.GIF contains the Chinese character "THOUSAND".
*.GIF file name convention is as following.
Each file name has eight byte space, like "12345678.GIF".
Byte 1 to 7 are used to describe the character as close as possible.
Byte 8 is used to distinguish different characters with same meaning.
For example, HAPPY_01.GIF, HAPPY_02.GIF and HAPPY_03.GIF are three different
Chinese characters all with HAPPY meaning.
SPRING_1.GIF, SPRING_2.GIF, SPRING_3.GIF are three different Chinese characters
with season_SPRING, mechanical_SPRING, water_SPRING different meanings.
Eighth byte will start from 1, 2 ... to 9 then to A (10), B (11), C (12) ...
Z (35).
If there are 10 different characters with HAPPY meaning, then the *.GIF file
for the tenth HAPPY is named as HAPPY_0A.GIF.
Sometime the same character wrote more than once.
For example LOVE.
They can not all be named as LOVE_001.GIF.
In this case the seventh byte will be used to distinguish them.
There is LOVE_001.GIF and LOVE_0A1.GIF.
One Chinese character may have several meaning and several pronunciations.
In this case, that single character may have several different file names.
For example, the file happy_04.gif may also named as music_01.gif at later
time.
I hope this 8 byte descriptive naming method will allow me to work properly and give the user an easy way to understand file name.
