In this Washington Post article Dick Morris brings us current with charges that the Clinton White House may be using police state tactics in order to discredit Linda Tripp. On March 19, 1998, we published Morris' previous article which questioned how Jane Mayer, a writer for The New Yorker, could have legitimately secured Linda Tripp's employment records from the Pentagon. Morris charges the Clinton White House with blatant violations of the federal Privacy Act.

THE JURY FINDS.........New April 14, 1998
We regret to report that eight of the nine Republic of Texas defendants on trial in U.S. District Court in Dallas have been found guilty on one or more counts. Only Mark Hernandez was acquitted. The others are being held in detention until sentencing, which is scheduled to occur this coming July. Appeals are anticipated. More details to follow.
