* THE GULF WAR SYNDROME --WHAT YOU MUST KNOW ...New September 1, 1997.
On August 24, 1997, this Editor and friends happened to meet two women who served as officers in the Navy reserves during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Being somewhat familiar with the issues Captain Joyce Riley raised in her January 15, 1996 speech regarding "Gulf War Syndrome," we asked the two veterans what they thought. We were horrified to find that both women confirmed even the most extreme allegations made by Captain Riley--namely that during the Gulf War our leaders intentionally bombed sites at Khamisiyah where they knew biological weapons of U.S. origin were being stored. Captain Riley maintains that U.S. leaders ordered the intentional infection of our own troops, and that one aspect of the so-called "Gulf War Syndrome" is actually a communicable disease, Gulf War Illness, which is caused by laboratory-produced pathogens and which is spreading throughout the general population.
This means you! Whereas previously we had been hesitant to publish Captain Riley's speech, given its extreme nature, we now conclude that she may just be right. We urge you to read and study her material with a critical eye. Captain Riley has--almost single-handedly--been responsible for recent admissions (however incomplete), now appearing in the mainstream press regarding the true nature of "Gulf War Syndrome." The shocking fact is that every member of the U.S. Senate has been aware of the facts regarding the shipment of biological pathogens to Iraq since Senator Riegle presented compelling testimony and hard evidence to that effect on February 9, 1994!
After meeting these two women, both of whom are extremely ill, and one of whom may be dying from Gulf War Illness, we also urge you to remember the oft-quoted words of Pastor Martin Niemoller of Germany referring to the Nazis:
In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speek up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up.
Just this week new evidence surfaced that among the cocktail of experimental vaccines forced on our Gulf War soldiers without their consent, one may have been an experimental AIDS vaccine. Any government that is willing to jeopardize the health of its soldiers by conducting massive medical experiments with untested vaccines must be stopped. Please remember that you or your children may be the next guinea pigs.
GET INVOLVED! PLEASE SPEAK UP NOW! Contact your representatives in Congress. Demand full disclosure, and insist that Gulf War veterans and their families receive medical treatment.
