Here is the sweater I made from STR Ruby Slipper. See how wonderfully the colors 'feather?, flash?, pool? Whatever you call it, it looks much better on this sweater than it does on socks. This was done on size 4 needles. Should fit my 6 year old grand daughter. I'll try it this weekend.
This is a close up of the top of the sweater. The pattern is from a booklet called Lovable Hand Knits which I used for making sweaters when my children were small - at least 35 years ago. This color is closer to the real thing (but not quite).
