Caribbean

Cayman Brac - Cayman Brac and nearby Little Cayman offer some of the best diving in the Caribbean. English speaking guides provide plenty of information and humor while maintaining a safe diving environment. Sites of particular interest are: Bloody Bay Wall

Best feature - Great wall diving, great visibility, and the great staff at the DIVI.  "Brac" is for peace and serenity.  Don't go here to shop or dance.

Chub Cay, Bahamas (via Blackbeards Sailing Cruise) - This was my first ocean dive.  Imagine waking up after an overnight sail from Miami and seeing your first blue water.  100ft plus visibility.  It was assume.

Best feature - I love to sail and being able to dive and sail together, yeeha!

Stuart Cove's - This used to be owned by the DIVI group along with the adjacent hotel.  First rate operation and magnificent diving.  I have seen some of my largest fish from this location.  Huge blue parrotfish.  The shark dive is a must.  A 10 ft hammerhead went right over the top of me last trip.

Best feature - Shark diving for experienced divers

Bonaire Marine Park - Bonaire, Netherland Antilles, just a mere 80 miles from Venezuela, is a gorgeous place to dive.   Many hotels have nice shore diving creating dive log opportunities limited only by the tables or your computer.

Best feature - Completely different scenery including sea horses.  Also the shore diving.

Grand Cayman - This was my first Cayman experience.  Some of the best visibility in the world is right here.  The Caymans also have a great history.  I advise getting a book about the island prior to going.

Best feature - Great visibility.  Lots of things to do.  Shop, dine, explore, etc.  You won't get bored  here.
