The photo above was taken in the Spring of 2005 at Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, CA.

Me and Bomb-Aimer Danny French giving "the old what-for" to old Adolf. The airplane is an one of the very few Hawker
Hurricane Mk.2's in the United States. Chino, CA, 2004.

It's not all hard work in the RAF. This is the same Hurricane as above, but a year earlier at the Chino Museum's
Tribute to British Airpower.
Parachute Regiment

Myself, Don, and Derek as Para's at the Chino Airshow, 2000.
Click here to see this unit's website. This is a re-enacting unit and not part of the British Army.

A person who looks a bit like me has been known to run around in the deserts of North Africa behind enemy lines
as part of the LRDG. Somewhere in the desert, 2002.

Here one of the neat things you get to see as a re-enactor. For those of you over 35 years old, you might
remember these surplus WWII searchlights used by car dealers and such. Fort MacArthur has restored one to working condition
and fired it up on Saturday night during their Old Fort MacArthur Artillery Days. These shots were taken by resting
my digital camera on the hood of a jeep and these are the best two out of a dozen attempts.
Air Raid Siren
If you're looking for something completly different, here is a preview of an attaction that should be hitting the Southern
California air show circuit sometime next year. It's a Chrylser Air Raid siren. Powered by a 331 CID Hemi V-8,
the thing is increadibly loud.
Click here to link to YouTube to see a short video of the siren.
Go on for stuff that floats.
Go on, click here, if you dare!
