He is white-haired but stands straight and erect..His eyes are large and brown,,with a knowingness of others pain and sufferings..My dogs hear him tapping at my window
and know the scent of the one who comes...
We go out to meet him and I hold on to my large eager friends while the one who comes to visit gets their personal items ready..
He knows the ills and complaints of
my dear ones, for he has treated them for quite a few years..
I hold the furry ones tight as the friend gives them the shots that will keep them from getting the rabies or flu or many other ills..
Once
this gracious gentlemen was quite ill but manage to come all the way across town to help me in my distress..
His gait slowed and I could tell he was in pain , but, not a word of complaint from him..
This, then, is my mobile vet..who comes to those who are too old to drive, or like myself, too blind..He comes as a mobile vet..rain or shine..
My dear friend , Dr Arias Rios D.V.M. ..Thank you for the years you have
given me ,and ,thank you just for being a kind person in this world of many brutal and uncaring people! Especially when it comes to animals!
