"HEIDI"	"Heidi" is a mini long-hair red sable dachshund who was born 4/16/03. She started us in the dachshund world. She plays aunt to all the puppies & grooms all the adult dogs. She loves to tree the squirrels along with Prince,Punkin  and Patches and they can bark for hours.
"MISTY"	"Misty" is a  mini long-hair black & tan AKC dachshund who was the first mama at Flowerwood. She had a little red girl,"Miss Punkin", on Aug.28,2007, which we kept. Misty has been retired & is leading a life of leisure now. Punkin had her 1st litter so Misty is a new grandma to 2 boys & 2 girls.. She will meet the puppies soon.
"FAITH"	"Faith" is a  longhair black & tan AKC dachshund . She was born 1/22/05. She came to live with us in 9/05.  I was told that she was a mini but she now weighs 20 lbs. She has had many puppies for us and loves them all. She has "Tweenie" pups that grow to 15-18 lbs.
"CHATTIE CHARLIE"	"Charlie" is a mini smoothcoat black & tan CKC,UKC dachshund born 7/5/04.She is a good mom as she loves to pin the "teenage pups" down & "give them a good talking to". She really does make "lecturing sounds to the dogs she is talking to". "Charlie" was born around Hurricaine Charlie & thus  named by her 1st family.
"HERSHEY KISSES"	"Hershey" was born 7/5/04. She came to us 4/24/07 from Debbie M.  She & Charlie were litter-mates and have just been reunited after all these years.Hershey is a CKC smoothcoat who weighs 19 lbs. after many litters of babies. One of her males became our ambassador to Korea July,2008! His name is Mack. His family in Korea tell me that he is doing great & has many dachshund friends there to play with.Hershey & Winston had  the "LUCKY SEVEN" on 7/7/09. She had 7 boys on 7/7 on her 7th pregnancy. She had a C/Section & was spayed.
HERSHEY & CHARLIE, SISTERS REUNITED	This is the first picture of the reunited littermate sisters. They have not seen each other since they were 8 weeks old. They had to get to know each other all over again.  They were doting mothers & guarded their puppies closely. They bark the loudest whenever someone comes on the property!!
"MYSTIC PRINCE"	"Prince" is a mini longhair black/tan & silver dapple AKC/CKC/UKC registered male. He is 11 lbs. He has a wonderful personality & is very loving. He is father to many of our litters & is available at stud.
"WINSTON WINS"	"Winston" is a 11 lb.mini long-hair red sable male. He is  AKC/CKC/UKC /c Champion Pedigree Lines out of the TALLIVAST. He is available for stud and has his DNA registered with AKC. He fathers beautiful pups!
"HARLEY'S LOW RIDDER"	"Ridder" was born May,12,2004 & came to us Jan.18,2007. He is an AKC/CKC  longhair black & tan minature who has his DNA on file /c AKC.   Ridder has fathered many litters since he came to live /c us. He has beautiful puppies. Ridder weighs 8 lbs.8 oz.  He just became a father again /w Punkin. They had 2 tiny blk/tan boys & 2 blk/tan girls.They will be avail. 12/30.  He will be bred w/ Kahlua due to their small size so we shall see what that brings.He is avail.at stud for those wanting small males for their small girls!
"CHOCOLATE CANDY"	"Candy" is an AKC miniature longhair chocolate & tan  who was born Aug. 20, 2005. She & Rusty had 4 puppies last August. They were beautiful & doing very well with their forever parents.
"KISS OF AMBER"	"Amber" was born 4/4/06 in Cummings,Ga. She came to Flowerwood Dachshund 5/27/06.  She is a CKC red longhair mini.  She is our PUPPY MILL RESCUE!!  She is a very affectionate dog, definately one of my sweetest dogs. She was Rusty's bride in the pictures!!
"WINDY NIGHT"	"Windy" was born Sept.7th,2006. She came to live with us Feb.1st,2007.That was the night of the big rain and tornados in The Villages; thus her name of "Windy". She is a CKC smoothcoat black/tan & silver dapple. She is a sweetie! Windy & Chip were put together to see if they could make babies. Only time will tell there. We are hoping, they should have beautiful pups together!!
"PRINCESS KAIRI"	"KAIRI" was born Feb.15,2006. She came to live with us Mar.10,2007. She is so sweet! She is a very small CKC black & tan longhair that weighs in at 8lb.8oz. She & Ridder had their puppies on April 9th,2008. They were so cute & tiny!! She had 2 males & 2 females. The smallest male will be a future stud for Flowerwood Dachshund female dogs. Nathan is a cute,tiny little boy who will be a wonderful addition  to Flowerwood's Studs due to his small size & great personality. Kairi loves to explore the property and run,run,run!!
"KAHLUA" She is one of our smallest dogs.	"KAHLUA" was born  June 26,2007. She came to live with us Aug.22.2007.She is AKC registered & is Candy's full sister from another litter of course. Kahlua is a chocolate & tan longhair miniature with a wonderful personality.She has been a welcome addition to Flowerwood Dachshund. She weighed 2lb.3oz. the week when I got her.She weighs 9 lbs now after her 1st litter. Kahlua & Rusty had puppies by cesarean on Jan.21st. She will be bred this week to Ridder. We are hoping for some tiny puppies from them in a few months.
"PUNKIN"	"PUNKIN" was born 9/28/07 here at Flowerwood. She is AKC registered. Her parents are Misty and Rusty. Rusty was from "Pupkin Patch" in N.C. and thus Punkin's name. She was bred w/ Ridder as they are both so small. She had 4 small longhair black/tan puppies November 4th,2009. She had 2 boys & 2 girls. They will be avail. for adoption on 12-30-09.
"SILVER PATCHES"	Meet "PATCHES"!This little miniature smoothcoat CKC dapple girl came to live with us Oct. 4th,2007. She has such fascinating colors. She is almost completely black on one side and silver dapple on the other. She has a wonderful personality.  She had her puppies 9/1. They have all gone to their forever homes.
"FLOWERWOOD'S SOHN VON ROSTIG"	"ROSTIG" was born here at Flowerwood. His mother is "KAHLUA" & his father was "RUSTY". He was born 11/21/08. He is both AKC/CKC registered.  Rostig is a black/tan longhair miniature who weighs 9lb.4oz. He has just fathered his first litter with Patches. They had 4 pups, 2 silver dapples & 2 black & tans. They had 1 male & 1 female of each color.
"CHIP N DALE"	"CHIP" was born 3/12/09 & came to live with us 6/6/09. He is a AKC/CKC Mini Smoothcoat Black/Tan/White Piebald w/ Ticking. He is expected to be around 9 lbs. when grown. He will be THE Stud for our smoothcoat girls in about a year. That will assure all of those who want smoothcoat pups that they will be smooth & will not have to wait 3 weeks anymore to find out.
"PRECIOUS ONE" BORN AUG.13,2005 DIED SEPT.26,2007	"Precious" was a petite mini longhair black & tan AKC born here Aug. 13, 2005. She & Ridder had  beautiful babies 6/13/07.  I was pleasantly surprised at what a good,attentive mother she was. Precious was a fiesty little girl who held her own with our other bigger dogs but she was no match for a Jack Russell.She was very special to me being born in my first litter to Misty & Winston on my birthday.What a wonderful gift she was to me. She was "MY BABY"! PRECIOUS died Sept.26,2007 at the age of 2 yrs. 1 1/2months. She & Rusty dug under my fence to visit the dogs next door at @4:30AM. Their Jack Russell killed her /c one strong shake;breaking her neck. Precious, you will always be very special to me & I miss you SO-O much!!
"RUSTY PUPKIN" BORN FEB.26,2006 DIED JAN.18,2009	"RUSTY" was born Feb.26,2006 at the "PUPKIN PATCH" in N.Carolina. He came to us on Mother's Day,2006.He was a AKC/CKC miniature longhair red.  Rusty & Amber were the bride & groom when they were puppies.  Rusty & Kahlua had  beautiful puppies Nov.21.  I am sorry to say that Rusty was killed 1/18/09 by the jack russell next door,He was definately our busiest male on campus & left many sons & daughters loved by all their parents!! He is sorely missed by all who knew & loved him. We will be keeping his last born son to carry on his name.
