Trust Fund Administration; provides for deposit by law of earnings on any investment of state money not deposited into General Revenue Fund

This bill would start stripping money out of Trust Funds and pumping it into General Revenue. The Concealed Weapons Licensing Trust Fund established under F.S. 790.06 is the account where License holder money is held to earn interest to offset inflation.  The License is a 5-year license and the entire license fee is paid up front. The Department of State Division of Licensing manages that money responsibly.  One Fifth of the money is used the first year of the license and 4/5 is deposited into the Trust Fund and 1/5 is taken out each of the remaining 4 years to service the license holder and maintain the program.

If the Trust Fund is raided, the money to run the program won't be there and our license fees will go up.

A raid on this Trust Fund is a blatant
