Windows 7

Well, early reviews are in, people like Windows 7! Including me. I tested the RC7 (Windows 7 Beta) on an older laptop : P4, single core 1.6 Ghz CPU, 1 Gb RAM....runs perrrrrty dern good! Imagine what it can do on a fast PC.

I think, from what I see, feel and read about "7", is that this was the OS that Vista was SUPPOSED to be. Oh well, a goliath like Microsoft doesn't want to rush into anything great (and to err is human [Vista]).

Will I switch over to 7? Nope. WHY? 1. I am my father's son (although he switched over to Vista against my good advice! Hmmm.). 2. I still have a perrrty decent main PC that runs XP swimmingly; XP is supported until 2014 and Microsoft still has enough of my money. I think I may even have some Windows 2000 machines around here that run perrrty dern good too (Windows 2000 supports end Spring of 2010 however!).
