With all of those idiot spammers, spyware
creeps and virus writers (Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and pummel
you with experience) spewing forth their garbage all over the internet, it is really tough
to keep your system totally clean. The best way to make sure your system is 99.99% (it'll never be 100%) clean is
to scan it with every anti-virus and anti-malware tool known to man....that's probably a tad bit impractical.
Here's a step in the right direction though.
The link below is a cool website
(way cool!) that can check to see if you have a malicious file or infection on your system.
If you notice weird pop ups in your personal firewall, or you suspect that a particular file on your system juusst
doesn't seem right, you can upload that file to Jotti's virus scan webserver and have the
file scanned by MULTIPLE scanners to see if it contains a virus, a Trojan, a worm or some sort of malware
(spyware or adware): http://virusscan.jotti.org/
