Cushion Mums are the most long-living and reliable mums. They come in so many pretty colors. I recommend buying them in the early Fall when they are in full bloom at the nursery. This way, you can mix and match and get color combinations that go well together. Plant them in mass plantings for greatest effect. They blooms from late Summer until frost. I haven't had any problems with pests or diseases.
