Children and Youth Activities
Heifer International
Today, millions of people who were once hungry will be nourished by milk, eggs and fresh vegetables. Families who for generations knew only poverty will be building new homes and starting businesses. Children who once headed out to the fields to do backbreaking work will be heading into schoolrooms to learn to read. And people who never thought they’d be in a position to help someone else will be experiencing the joy of charitable giving. How is this possible? With Heifer’s proven approach – almost 60 years in the making – to helping people obtain a sustainable source of food and income.

Give the world a gift! November 15th “Living Gift Market”

The Living Gift Market “sells” food- and income-producing animals like goats, bees, chicks and heifers. The animals go to resource-poor families working to improve their lives. You honor a friend or loved one with an attractive card describing the gift you have bought in their honor. You empower an impoverished family with an animal and training in its care. The family shares its knowledge and the animal’s first offspring with another family. This is an outreach project of our Sunday School. Please come to our “Living Gift Market” during coffee hour, buy a gift for a favorite teacher or friend. These make wonderful gifts for the person in your life that has everything.

Teen Help with Thanksgiving Boxes
Teens please mark your calendars. We will be packing Thanksgiving boxes on November 19 in the evening.

Attention Parents Thanksgiving Weekend
We will not have formal Sunday School on November 29. Child care will be provided in the nursery and a movie will be shown for other children who come to church that morning. Please bring your children if you are in town.

Special! Rally Day Photos

Our goal in church school is that each child know how fully and unconditionally he/she is loved by God and to explore ways to respond to that love and share it in this time and place.

All children, babies through 12th grade begin worship with their families and then come to Church School after the children's message. Babies through two years meet in our nursery. Our classes are organized by the following age levels. Preschool (Children who turned 3 before last September 1 through those who have not yet started kindergarten) Multiage (kindergarten through second grade) Intermediate (third through sixth grade) Teens (seventh grade and above).

We enjoy the lectionary based curriculum "Seasons Of The Spirit" We also hold many fun events throughout the year. We host an action packed Bible Camp every summer.
