Live Bookmarks, what are they? How do they work? I told you I would be adding to this site as I learn something new all the time. If you go to news websites, sports websites or similar, you know there might be quite a few stories and links to them on the front page. All these stories change daily or even faster. If the website you frequent has Live Bookmark technology, you can click the little icon and choose to subscribe to that sites Live Bookmarks. When you do the website puts a folder in your bookmarks and in that folder are all the bookmark links that is relevant to todays news or sports or whatever that is on that site. Then it will automatically update them bookmark links as they change on that website. Tomorrow there will automatically be different bookmarks in that folder than today.

By the clock.
It will look like this in your bookmarks

The site will update them
Sometimes a site will not have that little icon by the clock but will have a few links that say Top Stories, politics, sports or whatever and will have an orange little icon that might say XML on it, but when you click the link you just see a bunch of text. This is a way you can get live bookmarks for that link.
You right click the icon and choose properties. Then when it comes up you highlight the address and choose "copy" and close the box then you go to the Bookmarks Manager and click the "File" at the top and choose "New Live Bookmark". When the box opens you Name it what you like and Paste the address in the Feed Location box and press OK. There will then be a Live Bookmarks folder in your bookmarks.
Copy the address of the orange button

Paste it in the box as shown

Although I don't use this sort of thing, I saw someone asking about it so I put it on the site. I'm the type of person who doesn't like anything updating by itself. I manually do Windows update, anti-virus update, and any other programs I have that need updates. I do however know people who just love this kind of stuff.

Here's is a good Firefox Help Site
