Welcome
Western Horizons Working Dog Club is a newly forming multidisciplinary group of dog enthusiasts located in the high desert of Southern California. We are a full member club of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America. Although our primary focus is Schutzhund, we welcome anyone involved in one of the many dog sports such as agility, rally obedience, fly ball, ring sport, tracking or herding to join us. We promote motivational, humane training methods in a supportive atmosphere.
We currently meet once a weekend to practice tracking, obedience and protection. We strive to make the training progression enjoyable for ourselves and our dogs and to achieve our goals and reach our maximum potential whether as competitors or pet owners. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or just starting out we look forward to your visit.
