meeting was opened by President –Elect Lee Yost who led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance and James Hartley led the
club in a prayer.
Our only guest this week was our speaker Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higgenbotham.
The Hope Children’s Home Christmas party will
be the first Wednesday in December at Aston Gardens. Nancy is assigning kids. See her to get yours.
Lee Yost announced Carrollwood Elementary will be doing
Terrific Kids again. Briggs Stahl will coordinate it along with the ones at Northwest Elementary.
Dec 6th will be the bell ringing for Salvation
Army. Bert Almeda passed around the sign-up schedule.
December 21st. is the Migrant Worker Christmas
Party. James Hartley passed out an information sheet about event. James also
spoke about another project to build a handicapped ramp that we may be involved in.
Bert Almeda collected Happy Dollars.
Sean Dimas was inducted as a new member. Dr. Barry Shapiro
performed the induction ceremony.
Our speaker this week was Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higgenbotham. Before he spoke, he was inducted to our
club as an Honorary member.
Drawing for the $141 in the 50-50 was won by Ed Anderson
but still no Queen.
