The weekly meeting was opened by President Jennifer Weaver who led the club
in the Pledge of Allegiance and James Hartley led the club in a prayer.

The spaghetti dinner fundraiser is set for January
22nd. It will be hosted by Hearthstone again.
Bring your old magazines and give them to Terry
Almeda to be distributed at the Veteran’s Hospital.
Dues are due. If you have not paid as yet, please
get a check to Secretary Ed.
Dec 19 will be the Migrant Worker Christmas party.
James Hartley is collecting food, toys, and clothes to be distributed.
The sign-up sheet for Salvation Army bell ringing was passed around. It is set for
December 11th. If you
have not signed up yet, please do so.
November 13th Aston Gardens will be having a fun raiser for
Operation Helping Hand. It is a “Casino Night” from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m.. Suggested donation is $10.00. There will be live entertainment, black jack, roulette, and Texas hold’em. Also food and drinks. It is at the clubhouse at Aston
Gardens, 12951 West Linebaugh.
There was a Terrific Kids program at Claywell
Elementary on Wednesday, November 4th. 43 kids received awards and
t-shirts. Several of our members attended.

There will be a Round table meeting on November
11th because of the Veterans Day holiday..
The 50-50 drawing this week for $562.00 was won
by Scott and Nancy. Nancy drew for the Queen and with only
9 cards left, she still missed the Queen of Hearts so the pot rolls over again. No drawing next week due to round table meeting.
