Welcome to my corner of the ‘net where I have decided freedom of speech can at last truly reign and I am free to expose the world to my opinion; for better or worse. Though I am usually a very mellow soul, there is the occasional piece of world reality that comes to my attention and sends me off on a tangent. These are usually, thankfully short lived. However, occasionally I find myself fired up enough to let fly with a good rant. Hence, I have created this cyber soapbox for myself.
So as the human parade of reckless stupidity and spineless weasels passes me by, I hope to be able to get a little of it off my chest and, hopefully, infuse some humor into the situation as well. You will note that this page has no “open forum” or a place to “sign my guest book.” I might consider such in the future for those of you who feel a need to rant back. For the time being though, the only opinion expressed will be my own. If you disagree with me, get your own web page.

I could not believe what I heard being discussed on this morning's call-in show on CSPAN! Wake up, America; our national security is at stake and we are whining about "civil rights?" Oh, please!

In the midst of terrorism, the crumbling stock market and a recent display of partisanship that was beyond the pale of human decency, this week's rant has been a long time
coming and the target is the Democratic Party. Just for the record folks, I'm still registered as a Democrat - but not for long. Click on the link below
to find out why.
In the above-mentioned parade of stupidity, the previous leader was Ralston
Purina (with the United States Congress running a close second - but that
rant was set aside until recently). I am not exactly the activist,
save-the-world type. But if there is one thing that will send me
into a screaming rage, it is animal cruelty. Purina Ralston has published
an ad that seems to endorse declawing for cats. Find out how our
parade leader achieved "leader of the pack status."
