Caroline McCaskey: Fiddle
Caroline McCaskey will be a senior at the Univ. of the Pacific in Stockton, CA this year. She is majoring in Music Composition in the Conservatory, as well as playing principal viola in the University Symphony. In addition to music, her interests include creative writing, improv theater, knitting, hiking, and Irish step dance and contra dance. In high school, Caroline was Percussion Section Leader in the Marching Band and principal oboe in Symphonic Band. She also played the drum set in Jazz Band for two years. In summer of 2004, she attended the National High School Music Institute at Northwestern Univ. as a composition major.
In the summer of 2007 Caroline attended The Quartet Program, on viola. Caroline has been playing violin for eleven years, fiddle for nine years, and viola for one year. She joined the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers under the direction of Alasdair Fraser when she was 12, and has been performing with them ever since.
Caroline also plays the musical saw, and in addition to having performed as a saw soloist with the SF Scottish Fiddlers, has been competing in the International Musical Saw Competition since 2003. In 2007, Caroline won! This makes her the youngest person ever to win the competition. She has been on the Game Show Network’s “I’ve Got a Secret” (her secret was “I’m a champion saw player”) and has been featured on NBC 11 news due to her achievement in the musical saw world.

Cole Ingraham: Flute, Djembe & Piano
Cole Ingraham is a recent graduate of the University of the Pacific with
a BM in Music Composition from the Conservatory.
Cole attended to Adrian C. Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, CA, where he
marched for four years with the Black and Gold Regiment band on both flute
and percussion. Since then, he has taught private flute lessons, held the
position of percussion director at Stagg High School in Stockton, CA, and
has been commissioned to transcribe as well as arrange music for various
events. During the summer of 2006, Cole attended the International New Music
Festival in Darmstadt, Germany, and the summer music program at the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, France in 2007.
He is curently in his final year of studies for an MFA in Electronic Music at Mills College in Oakland, CA.
Cole has 13 years of experience on flute and 9 in percussion. In addition,
he also sings in a variety of styles including classical and Tuvan Throat
Singing.

Terrell Liedstrand: Guitar & Mandolin
Terrell has been a folk musician for most of his life, playing guitar, mandolin, and fiddle with his family as well as many other musical groups. He has a BS in Psycology and has been working on a Masters in Music Therapy at The University of the Pacific.

Eric Anderson: Piano
Eric Anderson is an amazing contradance pianist who plays with us as well as many other bands as well including but not limited to Lee Anne Welch and Bandemonium! and Celticladda with Randy Miller and Tom Hodgson.

Deborah McCaskey: Guitar
Deborah McCaskey rediscovered her inner musician and picked up her long-neglected guitar when her daughter, Caroline, began playing the fiddle. She has been a member of the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers since 1999 and has played guitar in the group’s spring concerts since 2000. She is currently studying guitar at Contra Costa College with instructor Ron Galen.
