Got out in Feb. 1989and got on with the Structural Fire
Department.

relief Driver/Operator.

I have been in for 16 years and joined the glorious ranks of
Crash Crew in 85.
I was at Bogue from 85-88,
Yuma from 88-91,
CampPen 91-93,
Beaufort 93-96,
then to hell Recruiting Duty from 96 - present.
But, in 6 mos I will be going back to Beaufort.
Ike if you know where James R. Dommer is I sure would like to
know. To all the Bogue gang and Yuma gang,
then back to Beaufort '99
and retired in '02....
crash crew was the best time of my life
....to all the guys of Section One '01-'02(MCAS Beaufort)
you guys were some of the best crispy critters I ever had the opportunity to work with,

Attened Afunp school in Millington Tenn. Aug 79

Had to wait for enough Students to Attened Afta school Thats when I found out about Crash Fire Rescue... A certain gunny told me about how I could get into CFR..the rest as they say is History..I spent 10 and half years in the glorious Corps.
Attened AFFR School in millington Tenn Oct 79.. My Instructor was Top Merridith..A great teacher.
First FMF duty Station was MCAS Kanohoe Bay Hawaii.Got my cherry poped there...saw a Ch-46 tip over in front of me...god I was so scared it was my first day driving a crew as a crew cheif....Served under CWO-4 Currie and MSgt Trotter...in Hawaii..from Jan 80 to June 83
....Transfered to Iwakuni Japan in JUNE 83......Spent three grand years in Japan, Two years working in the crew one year as the CO's Driver for COL. McCarthy. When I was working as a crash crewman I served under CWO-4 Pratrowski and Top Balanger
Left Iwakuni in June of 86 headed for MCRD San Degio Recuriters School......Damn I just could not get the anger speech down..LOL.....
From there I was assinged to Camp Pendelton....CFR...From Aug 86 to oct 89.served Under CWO-4 Jordan....and Msgt Moore....
I was medical discharged in Oct 89 for a bad Knee.never should of let those doc's operate on me.....Damn Navy Medicine.cut my carear short..
I even had orders back to Iwakuni..Damned overseas physical.....well there you have it in a nut shell.my short lived time in the Marine Corps....
