COMMENTS: #2 WM TO ATTEND AFFR SCHOOL AND I WAS THE FIRST WM AT BOTH IWAKUNI AND QUANTICO. THINGS I LAUGH ABOUT NOW....IN IWAKUNI OUR NCOIC MADE THE MEN PUT AWAY THE "MAGAZINES", WATCH THE SWEARING ETC ETC PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL ..I WASN'T EXACTLY WELCOMED. I THINK I WAS SOAKED 75% OF MY DAYS THERE, AND FOR THOSE THAT KNOW WHAT IT IS I WAS FIRE GODDED. OF COURSE WHAT WOULD HOT SPOT BE WITHOUT CONVERATIONS FROM A-Z (4 HOURS WAS A LONG TIME IN THOSE TRUCKS( MB-5'S) , FIELD DAYING TRUCKS UNTIL 0200 BECAUSE EARLIER IN THE DAY WE DECIDED TO HAVE A MASSIVE ALL TRUCK WATER FIGHT..THE MICROWAVE BEING STOLEN FROM CREW ONE NIGHT WHILE WE ALL SLEPT. PILOTS BEING SOMEWHAT SURPRIZED TO SEE A FEMALE UNDER THAT SILVER SUIT. THE MEMORIES ARE ENDLESS...SOME OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS TO THIS DAY REMAIN THOSE MARINES WHO DIDN'T WANT A "FEMALE" IN THEIR MIST.
THANKS FOR THE WEB SIGHT..!!!

Had Licenses for everything, discharged then in Aug of 1990 got a letter from CMC to retake my physical cried all the while they were oing my protate exam and took my degree's to them. They sucked out half of my brain and made me an officerand placed me in the Army Nurse Corps(no I didn't swing the other way and it is not true what they say about whimpey male nurses) for Desert Sheild Desert Storm. Now I am a Capt.in ANC and a Comander of an Forward Surgical Team. I had to go to school for Registered Nursing because all of you took the good job's and as a paramedic I wasn't making any change in the Detroit area at that time. Now I work as an ER nurse when they let me but primarily recover Post-Op Coronary Artery Bypass patients, and both Heart and Lung Transplant's in the critical care area. It it a really great site and glad I found it for "BLOODY RED OR CHARCOAL BLACK WE ALWAY"S BROUGHT OUR PILOT"S BACK!"
