Greg JenkinsMy name is Gregory Jenkins and I was stationed in Iwa Kuni Japan
Marine Air Station as Crash, Fire, Recue man. E-4. I like to know if anyone was in Japan around late 1979, early 80's
that witnessed a crash, I believe it was a TA-4 that crashed doing touch and goes during a storm. God bless you all.

Stuck in the desert of Yuma.
John W. JohnsonAnyonw from MCAS Yuma '81-'85 drop me a line!!!!!
I attended
Basic Crash Fire Rescue School in NAS Millimgton TN, Graduated November of
1981,
from there stationed at MCAS Yuma until 21 April 1985. During that time
we were using Oshkosh MB-5's, and we had a P-4 in addition to a water tanker
and Crane. Later we recieved some Walter B-1800's, they were being replaced
as I was leaving due to brake discs cracking resulting in some malfunctions.
I'm currently home in Lake Charles, Louisiana . I work at our Regional
Airport as Chief/Instructor of Crash Fire Rescue.
Would love to hear from
fellow Crash Crewman, exchange news and possibly trade some patches and
T-Shirts. I do truely miss the comradery of Crash Crew. I proudly display my
MCAS Yuma Crash Crew patch on our station patch board. Semper Fi John W
