Feltham,

Hello to all of my Fellow Cherry Point Crash Crewmen.(Sept
90-Sept 93).
Greetings and Salutations from Quantico.
I have jumped the fence to the Air Traffic Control side.
Drop a line to say hi unless your Dean Mcneal aka deno, Because
you have my number but never call.
Rande FergusonI was in Crash Crew. I was in from the years of 85-89.
Sgt. Rande Ferguson
1/85-3/85 MCRD San Diego
3/85-6/85 Millington
6/85-9/85 El Toro (Reserves)
9/85-11/86 Yuma
11/86-11/87 Iwakuni
11/87-9/89 Tustin
It is great to see quite a few names that I recognize here. I can remember many good times and many tough times. I thank God for the experiences while in CFR and the friendships that were created while in the Corps. I have been able to keep in contact with a number of different CFR guys, but have lost contact with many more. It would be great to hear from some old friends. Feel free to contact me at this new e-mail address. Currently I am an Engineer with the City of Palm Springs Fire Dept. here in California. I have been working here for the last ten years. It sounds like CFR lead the way for many Marines to get jobs in the civilian life as firefighters. Same job, just a different duty station without the deployment s. Although looking back now, the deployments (29 Palms, Daggett, Bridgeport) are some of the best times to look back on. I would have to say that as time goes on, I realize just how much the people that I came in contact with while in the Corps have helped to build the character and work ethics that I have today. For every one of you that I have worked with, both senior and junior, (and you now who you are) I truly thank each one of you. Something a friend once told me, "We will be the same person next year that we are today, except for the people that me meet and books that we read." I tend to think this is true. I could continue and go on forever about the stories and things that we did, but I will wait until we e-mail eachother. Until then, "Semper Fi" and God bless you Marines.

I would like to find Marty Thomas, Anthony M. "Tony" Harris, my old roomie in Tustin and Iwakuni. Ive been looking for Tony for years. I also would be interested in finding out what Gus Navarro, Rob Bustamante, Ken Jones, Glen Jedamski, Pat McPherson, Darren Cherwonuk, Kerry Bartrum and Scott Hurst are up to. I saw many old names from the gang and it brought back some good memories. I would love to hear from anyone who served with me. I was sorry to hear about the passing of Tim Tucker. I served with Tim at El toro in 1984 and had many trips to the desert with him as well. RIP devil dog!!!
